The Rescue Ladder attachment can also be designed with removable rungs on both ends allowing it to connect any two conventional ladders together as shown below. This allows any conventional ladder to be come a rescue ladder capable of being extended to a victim and allowed to drop into the water.

Currently wooden ladders are sometime located near common sites where people are known to congregate onto frozen ice. Although these ladders help in aiding they don’t go into the water.
